With our West Bay fishing trips the emphasis is on having a relaxing, enjoyable and rewarding day on the water.
Fishing trips are generally of 6 hours in duration.
Departure times vary with the tides between 7.30am to 1.30pm. We can provide fishing boat charter on any day of the week, including Saturday and Sunday.
The boat can accommodate seven anglers, though six provides the
optimum space for everyone.
We welcome novice anglers and those who want to try sea angling for the first time. We can hire rod and reel – with prior notice –
for £5.00. There are also two fishing equipment stores in West Bay. You must provide your own bait.
When preparing for your day on the boat please remember to bring appropriate clothing. Even on a fine day it can be cold at sea, so include warm layers such as a fleece and waterproofs. We’d also recommend full-length trousers and some stout boots or Wellingtons, to protect you from fish hooks as much as anything else. And also remember that the effects of the sun are amplified at sea, so please bring sun cream and a hat to protect yourself from sunburn. You will also need to bring your own food and drink for the trip. |
